How do I order?
Pick what you'd like on the site, add it to your cart and check out. You'll get a confirmation email straight away.
How far ahead should I order?
For pickup, just choose a date from the date picker at checkout. Favours, bomboniere, Meghli and events need 4 days' notice. You're also welcome to walk in and grab minis if we have them in store.
What's in the mixed boxes?
Each box lists what's inside on its page. Flavours can change with the season, so sometimes one or two might be swapped.
Do you do wholesale?
Yes. Email tayta@smeed.com.au and tell us what you're after.
Delivery & pickup
Do you post Australia-wide?
Yes, by Australia Post Express, usually 1–2 business days. Postage is $20 for orders under $60, $25 from $60 to $109.99, and $35 for $110 and over. We don't ship overseas.
When do you post?
We post on Monday and Tuesday, and Wednesday at the latest, so parcels don't sit at the post office over the weekend. Orders placed later in the week go out the next Monday.
Do you deliver in Sydney?
Yes, from Belmore: $10 within 5 km, $15 for 5–10 km, and $25 for 10–25 km (out to around Parramatta, Merrylands and Granville). Order before 11am for next-day delivery.
Can I pick up?
Yes, pickup is free from 422 Burwood Rd, Belmore during opening hours. We're closed Mondays.
Why can't some items be posted?
Meghli, favours and bomboniere, the Heart Ma'amoul Box and the Ahla Mama Club Gift Set don't travel well, so they're pickup or Sydney delivery only.
My parcel is late or arrived damaged. What do I do?
Once it's with Australia Post, please follow up with them using your tracking number. If something's wrong or missing from your order, email us within 48 hours with photos.
Storage & allergens
How long do ma'amoul last?
They stay fresh for 2 weeks in an airtight container, and keep for 1 month in the fridge.
Will they melt in the heat?
Heat can soften chocolate and icing. We pack carefully and use Express, but on hot days try to get your parcel inside quickly.
What allergens are in them?
Every product has wheat and dairy. There's no sesame or egg. All fillings contain nuts except Date.
Are any nut-free?
No, habibi. Even Date is made in a kitchen that handles nuts, so we can't call anything nut-free.
Favours & events
Is there a minimum for favours?
Yes, most favours, Meghli and the Layered Ma'amoul Favours have a minimum of 12. Mini Dipped Ma'amoul Favours need 2 dozen (24 pieces).
Can I add a custom label?
Yes. It's $1 each on all favours and Meghli. You choose a tag colour — blush pink, baby blue, sage green, gold or black — and the text is always white. Without a custom label, items get the standard Smeed tag for free.
